[December] Texas appeared on an Italian TV show called "Super", a music show. They performed "When We Are Together" lip-sync. [8 December] Texas performed a couple of songs (In Our Lifetime & Summer Son) on a Children's Hospital fund raising concert called Joulun Tähti (Christmas Star) in Finland. Shar will remember this as "the day she got kicked out of her hotelroom". She went for a walk and when she got back to her hotel all her things were carried out from her room. The reason given was because some EU people needed their rooms ready that morning and hotel staff didn't expect Texas staying so long. "The problem lies with Sharleen's raunchy romps on the bed in a bedroom overlooking a beach. [11 May] "The Hush" is released. [4 May] Texas performed "In Our Lifetime", "Tell Me The Answer" and "Summer Son" on Later with Jools Holland. [30 April] "In Our Lifetime" was performed on Top Of The Pops. [19 April] The single for "In Our Lifetime" was released and Sharleen did an interview on Italian Select MTV. [31 March] Texas received the Millenium Monster Award at the Capital FM Radio Awards held at Lancaster Hotel, London, UK. [2 March] Richard Hynd leaves the band and is replaced by drummer Mykey Wilson. Also a new guitarist joins the band, Tony McGovern. [16 February] Brit Awards at London Arena, Texas didn't win a prize. [10 January] Sharleen becomes Amnesty International Ambassador and joins child soldiers protest in support.
