Concert review :
Arena, Sheffield, UK - 13 February 2001

Well what can I say it was the best concert I have ever been to!
Semisonic came on at 7.30 and played for an hour, they were quite good but I had got a bit fed up with them by the time they had done!

Then the great moment arrived at 9.00 and on came TEXAS! They kicked off with "In Demand" after a watery setting to start the show off! The backdrop was really good simple but extremly effective! After "In Demand" they went in "Black Eyed Boy", all of their songs that they did were great, but "Summer Son" really got the audience going. Everyone was dancing and screaming it was just amazing! A guy called Richard was pulled up on stage to dance with Sharleen and he loved every minute of it! The band did two encores the first was "Inner Smile" and "Suspicious Minds" with Sharleen in her Elvis suit! Then to finish off the night they did te breathtaking "Say What You Want". The audience sang along and it was the best song.

I was so sad to see them leave the stage for the final time! The 1.30 hours that they were on seemed like 10minutes! There was good merchandise for sale but it was very expensive! There were 3 types of t-shirts an Sharleen as Elvis one, a Sharleen one and one that said Texas on! There was a black skimpy top with texas on in bold red writing! two hats a wolly red one and a fishing hat and there were hooded tops in yellow and green at 35 pounds each! Programmeds were 8 pound! I bought a programme, an elvis t-shirt the skimpy top and a mug they were 6pound by the way! I also got a Sharleen poster from the bootleggers after the show! the most amazing show I have ever been to with the most talented band in the world!
