A short bio
Robert Matheu started as a staff photographer for the legendary Creem Magazine with over one hundred album covers and countless magazine covers worldwide.
This gallery includes published and unseen photographs from Blind Faith (photographed as a teenager growing up in Detroit), to legends George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Brian Wilson, Kiss as well as the Stray Cats, Pretenders and Cheap Trick (with all of whom he has maintained a long term friendship and working relationship) and many other highlights including our beloved Texas.
An exhibit of his work remains on permanent display at Slim Jim's Cat Club on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. Robert also continues to work as a regular contributor to Rolling Stone, Playboy and MOJO Magazines.
In addition to his photographic endeavors he is guiding the relaunch of CREEM in 2002!
