Meet & Greet with the band, Paris, France, 29 October 2003

Everything started on wednesday morning, when a friend of mine (who's a fan of Sean Paul ) called me to tell me he was going to the Hit Machine taping and (as he knows I'm a TEXAS fan) that the band was going to perform that morning... so I just took my GH partitions, my CWYWF booklet, wrote a letter for Sharleen and the band and left immediately to go and try to see Sharleen and get some autographs and pictures...

10:30 A.M.
I arrived at the Hit Machine studios and after spending some minutes freezing Sharleen arrived as beautiful and impressing as always and started signing autographs for all the people waiting there, then she arrived in front of me and I just could tell her "Welcome back!" and she answered "It's good to be back!" with a big pretty smile; then she signed my partitions and booklet and I gave her the letter after asking her to read it. Then I asked her to take a picture of her and me together and she said "sure" ... we took it and she entered to the studio to prepare everything on stage before performing....

... five minutes later I could not believe when a guy from the record company came out asking who was the author of the letter, then I said it was me and he told me that Sharleen loved the letter and she wanted to invite me to the NRJ event that night... .... and I told him, "yeah sure, it's great!" (in English, as I was astonished) then I repeated the same thing in french... and he told me I had to wait some minutes for he to find a bracelet for me and for he to give me the adress...

... a half-hour later he arrived and gave me both, the adress and the bracelet, then I asked if I could invite my sister and two friends (who were there with me) and he said I could.

Unfortunately I could not get into the studio to see the guys, Sharleen and Suncycle (yes, Kardinall was in Canada, Sharleen told me) performing CG, but when they left the guy from the record company came to see me and told me "so see you at 19:00 P.M. ! " then the band came out and Sharleen, who was eating a "croissant" came to see me and asked me if I have had the bracelet, then they left....

18:45 P.M.
I arrived in front of the entrance of the appartment where the private meeting was going to take place and security guys told me I had to wait some minutes before entering, then the guy from the record company arrived and gave me three bracelets for my sister and friends and we entered... it was a classic, pretty Paris appartment very nice set, with flowers and candles everywhere, then some tables around which fans who won through NRJ competition were already seated, then we seated on a table in front of the bar and a guy came and distribute some CG promo pictues for Shar to sign, and thay started playing CWYWF...

20:10 P.M.
CWYWF playing stopped and we understood why... the band has arrived!!!! then Sharleen came and seated in our table, she recognized me ! and started to chat with me while signing photos, booklets and all that stuff... she told me she was starving but it was very nice to be there, then I asked her when they'll go on tour again and she told me it was going to be on next year, but they still did not exactly know when... then I thank her for inviting me and she told me (with her beautiful scottish accent) something like "Oh no, you know it's normal, and you letter was so beautiful! " .... then she left us and told he was going to come back later...

... some minutes later the guys where there, I spoke to them all and I can say is that they where very pleased to be there.. then I took some pictures with them (I must say that Ally, Eddie and Tony where very nice with me!! ), and they signed me some stuff...

...well I think you know the rest of the story, I'm going to add just that at the end (after Sharleen came back from eating something at the kitchen ) I kissed her and she told me she was very happy to be there with us, then I thank her again and took a last picture with her... Oh my god! she's so pretty!!! I still can't believe I was there with her and with the guys!!!... so at the end, I went to say goodbye to the guys, their manager and the guy from the record company, and Tony, who was totally drunk took me in his arms and started to tell me something like "Oh guy, it was nice to met you! don't forget to come to our concerts, but come free, don't pay, we invite you, come on, you'll see, it's really great, give your name..." (and he gave me a piece of paper where I left him my name, adress, etc) then he approached to my ear and told me "please save me from all this people, come on, help me to get out of here..." (of course, he was kidding)


I just can say it was a perfect day I'll never forget, and want to thank again Sharleen and the guys for being there for us, their fans!!
