Maria McKee was the lead singer with Lone Justice. Whilst in the band she wrote "A Good Heart" which was recorded by Fergal Sharkey and reached number one in the UK singles charts. After that project disintegrated she recorded a solo self-titled album which stands as a classic album. A beautiful and honest album which showcased her vocal ability and songwriting craft.

Texas performed their version of "A Good Heart" together with Maria in Glasgow way back in 1989, during that same concert Maria also joined them on "Prayer For You" and "I Don't Want A Lover".
