TEXAS will be giving a most exclusive performance of their new album Careful What You Wish For next week and you could be there.

Texas will be playing at the Ramshorn Theatre in Glasgow on Tuesday, September 30 for Clyde 1.

The lunchtime gig will be aired on Suzi McGuire's radio show, but 192 has teamed up with Clyde 1 to make sure our winner and a pal can be at the exclusive performance of the band's new material for their album, which isn't out until October 20.

Singer Sharleen Spiteri told 192: ``We've been in rehearsals all this week and the band are sounding great.

``Our new drummer Neil is sitting there with this huge smile on his face the whole time.

Texas actually sound quite a lot different to before, our sound has really moved on now.

``We're so excited to unveil this in Glasgow. These new songs are some of the best we've ever written and in live performance, they're going to take on a life of their own.''
