King Tuts and 100 Club showcase
The showcases at King Tuts in Glasgow and the 100 Club in London are already over. And I can say everyone was in top shape.
The band with our funny Sharleen and a better voice then ever up front, Ally playing like he never has before, Eddie giving it all he's got, Tony's voice getting better by the day, Michael being his funny great self behind the piano, both Rosses fitting in perfectly and Johnny doing an amazing job behind the buttons.
All this together is what makes Texas the amazing band they are and we can't say anything more then thank you.
Oh and the fans were in topshape as well :-)

During the shooting of the video in Paris, Sharleen maybe a pretty heavy fall on her face and had to be taken to the hospital. Luckely without too many injuries.

STV - March 7, 2013
The Scottish Sun - March 7, 2013
“Sharleen said the single is ``self-explanatory when you listen to the lyrics. It´s like we´ve gone full circle with Texas and it sounds like a modern take on the classic Texas sound. That´s not to say it´s got electronic beats and synths flying everywhere – it´s just a great, in your face, record´´”

Album news
We are happy to announce some news about the upcoming Texas album.
* The release date is set for May 20, 2013
* The title from the album is "The Conversation".
* It will be released on an independent record label called PIAS
Sharleen says in MusicWeek:
"When we started talking with [PIAS] we were really impressed by their enthusiasm and passion for our new music and how they work in a very modern and artist-friendly way," singer Sharleen Spiteri said.
"We are really excited about starting a brand new phase of our career with our eighth studio album and a brand new label partner."
The album will see founding members Spiteri and Johnny McElhone reunite after a six-year-long hiatus.
Texas have sold over 20 million albums worldwide since forming back in 1986.
“Not many are so lucky to have such a long career in the business. So the fact that people are still interested in seeing us and still buying our records, I think that’s pretty special.”

He’ll collect the Inspiration award on behalf of the band when they perform at this year’s Tartan Clef awards, which benefit the Nordoff Robbins music therapy charity. The event will be held at The Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow on November 17.
And having used music as part of his own rehabilitation, Ally admitted: “When I was recovering, it was the music that really helped me to get better.

Ross Hamilton, guitarist, bass player and backing vocalist from Texas over the last two years, released a solo album under the name of "Model Jet Pilot". The title of the album is "Welcome To The Future".
